Frenches Farm Livery is a popular and very friendly yard where everyone enjoys coming to ride their horse or pony. The welfare and happiness of our clients’ horses is our top priority, and our experienced, caring and knowledgeable team looks after every horse to a very high standard. With a comprehensive daily routine in place, all horses and ponies thrive in our well-organised and happy livery yard.

Leonie is the livery yard manager and has over 25 years experience breaking, schooling and competing horses. She combines a calm, hands-on approach with a genuine love of horses and their care. Leonie regularly competes in affiliated showing, side saddle and eventing.
Her experience, enthusiasm and down-to-earth nature helps create a friendly, supportive environment where horses are cared for as individuals and owners feel at home.

Kieran has 15 years of experience with horses, and currently has 1 horse he competes in showjumping up to 1m20, as well as producing youngsters to sell.

Emily is a freelance groom and instructor with nearly 20 years of experience across the equestrian industry. Her background includes running a successful riding school, managing a busy polo yard, and working on event yards, livery yards and lots in between.

Harriet joined the Frenches Farm team in 2021. She grew up around horses in her childhood but had little hands-on experience. She started at 16 with weekend work while she was in college, however soon realised she had a passion for being around horses. Her confidence, skills and knowledge grow more and more every day. In 2024, she began an apprenticeship to achieve a Level 2 Equine Groom Qualification, which she proudly completed in 2025.
She now works full-time at the yard, always looking forward to seeing the horses each day. She takes great pride in her work and making sure they are all happy, comfortable, and well looked after, and she never misses a chance for a cuddle, which is one of her favourite parts of the job.

Rosa first came to Frenches Farm Livery when she was 11 years old and has spent the majority of her time finding reasons to be there ever since. Her first share pony, Sky, lives at Frenches Farm and helped her find a community of people who have supported her in progressing her riding and her passion for horses. Now, work is her happy place.

Jason is very talented and professional and works hard on our farm, keeping everything together on the maintenance front. From field work and fencing to making doors, stable repairs, and arena repairs, you name it — Jason has an amazing handyman background.

Harriet and Rosa look after the livery over the weekend and make sure everything is running smoothly throughout Saturday and Sunday. Although they look after the full livery and the retirement horses, they also cover any part livery or DIY that has been requested over the two days.
